Canada

We crossed the border into Canada yesterday morning.  This is the first time that we have been in Saskatchewan.  It looked like there were lots of ranches and farms.  I'm thinking lots of wheat fields and lots of cattle.   

We stopped last night at a Walmart in Medicine Hat, Alberta.   It is so nice that you can overnight park in their lots.  We got going this morning around 9 and stopped this afternoon around 3 .  It was a short day for us today.  

We are around 60 miles west of Calgary in the mountains.  It is so pretty!!

We parked for the night in a beautiful spot in the woods surrounded by mountains.  Most of the sites are a little tight, but we did find one that we were able to get into.  Buck did a great job backing in with my guiding him.  lol.  They warned us about bears both black and grizzly.  I am hoping to see one from inside the RV.   We did see a pileated woodpecker on the tree just outside the window.  

We were just going out the door for a walk and it started raining so guess I am going to find me a good book and read tonight.

Tomorrow we will be driving through Baniff and Lake Louise so will be a good day for sightseeing.
