July 3rd heading toward Denali

We left Fairbanks this morning and drove up the Parks Highway to the small town of Anderson, population 536.  It's about 6 miles off the highway.  They have a very nice RV park, we are parked close to the Nenana river in the middle of trees.  We can see the river from the RV.  Buck is able to just walk to the river and fish.  We are going to stay here until Friday morning.
There was a wildfire burning about 20 miles out of Fairbanks and was a little scary.  They were leading people thru with a pilot car and when we got up by it, looked like they had it contained.  It was a small area, but was burned right up to the highway.  The fire danger is extreme, and there have been several fires.
We do not have wi-fi here so won't be able to post this tonight
Taken driving up the park hwy
This is where the fire was burning

This is the Nenana river that we are parked by

Didn't see any wildflowers but I think these dandelions are pretty

Here I am with my mosquito net over my face and it really worked...no bites
