July 4th Anderson

I'm sure there will be no fireworks around here tonight.  They wouldn't be very pretty in the daylight.
It was kind of cool here today, in the 60s.  Which was okay with me, it's harder for Mosquitos to bite through jeans and a jacket.
We drove into Nenana this morning and just missed the parade of two fire trucks.  They were throwing out candy tho.  It was kind of a interesting little town.  We talked to several locals, and went to a couple of gift shops.  The lady that owed the gift shops was originally from WI, she said she has
lived here for 40 years.  We bought a book that she had written about her life. I read it this afternoon and it was pretty good.  She was quite a character.  She is the only avon lady that made her deliveries by dogsled.
I did get a few pics today, we did see a moose and her calf, but didn't get a very good pic of them
