August 4th

We're still hanging out in Homer.  Kind of a cloudy, drizzly day today, a bit cool in the low 60s. 
In fact, I have the furnace on now.  It was so cool in here.
We got the clothes washed today, that's always a good feeling to have that done.  It's not fun washing in a laundromat, but at least this was a nice big and clean one. Also had wi-fi, which was nice.
We did go on a scenic drive and got some pics... 

That little strip of land is the Homer Spit.  We are parked about in the middle.  On the right, is Cook Inlet and the left side is Kachemak Bay.
