July 8th....Ninilchik

We woke up this morning to sunshine, which didn't last to long.  It has been raining a lot of this afternoon and is really cool.  It has been in the low 50s today.  We just got back to the RV and had to turn the furnace on.  We drove back up to Ninilchek this morning and are parked on the beach again.
Buck went Halibut fishing yesterday on a charter and caught his limit of 2 between 20 or 30 lbs each.    He had a really good time, even tho he got a bit seasick for a short time.
We went to some friends this afternoon and took some of the halibut.  Carol cooked it for dinner and used three different recipes, not sure which one I liked the best, as they were all so very good.  I got the recipes from her, so will be making some for us, maybe this week.

Buck and his halibut, they are white on one side

And dark on the other side and both eyes are on the dark side

The eagle was sitting on the tree just outside of the RV
Fireweed by the RV

Another old cabin ( thought u would like this, Jeff )
